We were given 12 different materials and the goal was to transport a gummy bear across 30 feet across on a fishing line. We first started to think of a way to get the bear on the string with a cart. We looked at our materials and sketched a straw with the string going through it. We then had to build the cart for the gummy bear. We used two popsicle sticks tape to the straw and in order to fassen the bear we used a rubber band and created pressure on the sides of the bear between the popsicle sticks. We then started to think of a way to accelerate the cart 30 feet. We ended up using the energy of tension with a rubber band.
