Some factors that must be considered when changing and enhancing a design is to see what is the problem with the product and how you can improve it. When I was looking on how to improve a backpack one of the problems is the weight. One way you can reduce the weight is by changing the material. I used carbon fiber to make the backpack and the back support was going to be built up as compressed carbon fiber. We got this idea by working in groups and brainstorming lightweight and durable materials to use in the backpack.
